The concept of generating passive income is inspiring. Why? Because I'd like some more cash in my pocket? Sure, who wouldn't. But for me that misses the point. For me, generating passive income is about time. And time is more precious than money.

Tim Ferris, author of the brilliant The 4-hour Work Week, and Pat of The Smart Passive Income Blog, have opened my eyes to the possibility of enacting serious lifestyle re-design based around a steady stream of passive income. Is it possible to replace active income, with passive and in the process benefit from the more free time?

The website will act as portal for readers to follow my attempts to set up various streams of passive income. I'll explore all sorts of avenues and nothing is off the cards; everything will be documented with brutal honesty on the blog, here.
